以重组EMA 1蛋白为抗原建立检测马巴贝虫抗体乳胶凝集试验

摘要: 用马巴贝虫裂殖子EMA 1基因重组蛋白为诊断抗原,建立了马巴贝虫病乳胶凝集试验,对63头马血清进行了检测。结果,阳性率为41.27%,且明显高于血液涂片镜检法(14.29%,P<0.01)。试验表明以马巴贝虫裂殖子EMA 1基因重组蛋白为诊断抗原具有特异性强、敏感性高、易纯化和制备等优点。

Detection of antibodies against Babesia equi in horses by latex 
agglutination test using recombinant EMA 1

Abstract: We detected the presence of antibodies against Babesia equi in horses was detected by a latex agglutination test using recombinant EMA 1. A total of 63 serum samples were examined to determine the degree of B.equi infection. The positive rate was 41.27%. The LAT was much better than blood smear; its positive rate was 14.29%. The recombinant EMA 1 could be used as an antigen against LAT to provide a sensitive and relatively simple way to detect antibodies to B.equi in horses.
