Abstract: Pathogenic characteristics of Lawsonia intracellularis causing porcine proliferative enteritis were summarized.Advances in isolation and cultivation,diagnosis,prevention and control measures,and prevalent status in China for this pathogen,including some progress in histology,immunology and molecular biology,were reviewed. |
